Pointer.Capital: Community Building and Webinar Promotion

Attracting new people to the community, as well as building the involvement of current members gathered around the project is not an easy task.

Especially among a narrow target group, limited by specific topics. In the case of our client Pointer.Capital, these are investments in projects in the field of blockchain, Fintech, cryptocurrencies, and Web 3.0.

A few words about the Client

Pointer.Capital is a fund associating people investing in startups operating in the field of Web 3.0, blockchain, FinTech, and cryptocurrencies. It has completed over 100 investments and obtained over $250 million in various financial rounds. The fund’s community is presented with interesting companies that are laudable of attention and also conducts communication to a wide audience – potential investors. One such project is the concept of events called Innovations Chains created by our agency.

Innovations Chains are cyclical webinars on Web 3.0, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and FinTech. The events are intended for investors from all over the world who want to expand their portfolios. Online meetings are aimed at expanding the participants’ knowledge and presenting them with the specifics of new startup activities. They also allow you to learn about trends in Crypto Space.

Objectives and Challenges of the Project

The main goal of our communication activities is to promote Innovations Chains webinars among people interested in investments. We start informing about each of the events long before the start, and we use various social media platforms for this purpose.

All this to reach as many investors as possible. The biggest challenges are certainly: to stand out among many other events addressed to investors and to interest them in a specific – and still known only in fairly narrow groups – subject matter.

Implementation of the Project

In the communication of Innovations Chains events, we focused primarily on business platforms associating with people interested in investing – mainly Linkedin and Twitter. We used these channels to inform about the webinar – both through posts conveying the idea of the event, individual startups and their founders, as well as the benefits of participating in the meeting.

It is also very important in the entire communication to reach the community gathered around startups and to people watching the main speaker of a given event. Each time a different person is popular among experts on the main theme of the event. Up until now, our guests were: Martti Malmi, one of the first Bitcoin programmers, and Rafael Badziag, a financial expert, business angel, and author of the book “Billionaire Mind”. In order to activate their community, we prepare dedicated materials and graphics, and then we contact speakers and startup founders with a request to place them in their channels.
We also prepare newsletters with information about the event, which is sent to the fund’s database.

Effects of our activities

Information about the Innovations Chains webinar is available in many different places on platforms connecting investors. Each event is attended by a large group of people interested in investing in startups. The meetings are also a great opportunity for business talks, discussing the most interesting topics from the world of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and Web 3.0, as well as learning about the latest trends.

We are very happy that the concept proposed by our agency has reached such a wide audience. It has been positively received and has become a permanent fixture in the calendars of many investors.
